British-born singer Lauren Bennett, who featured on LMFAO\u2019s 2011 hit \u201cParty Rock Anthem<\/a>,\u201d was a former member of the G.R.L. and Paradiso Girls groups and worked with will.i.am and CeeLo Green, died in May, multiple<\/a> media<\/a> outlets<\/a> reported this week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The members of G.R.L., which performed in the mid-2010s, announced Bennett\u2019s death with a statement on Instagram<\/a> on Monday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lauren,\u201d read the statement signed by Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton and Paula van Oppen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cOur hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us,\u201d it continued.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cHer beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved,\u201d it added. \u201cRest peacefully, sweet Lauren. You will always be in our hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Bennett died in England on May 29, reported USA Today<\/a>, citing local coroner records. A cause of death was not revealed. An inquest will take place in the fall.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
