\n\tWith over two decades of senior executive experience, Brenek assumes the top leadership position as the company continues its evolution from Fathom Events into Fathom Entertainment, a full-service specialty theatrical distributor with major motion picture distribution capabilities.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe company\u2019s upcoming wide theatrical release of \u201cWildwood,\u201d Laika\u2019s new stop-motion feature film opening in theatres nationwide Oct. 23, marks an expansion of Fathom\u2019s programming footprint.<\/p>\n
\n\tPrior to his new position, Brenek served as Founder and CEO of MetaMedia, the world\u2019s first global cloud-based platform for delivering movies, live events, and premium content to cinemas at scale. Under his leadership, MetaMedia pioneered real-time, cloud-based content delivery to more than 600 cinemas across 30 leading chains worldwide before its successful acquisition by Qube Cinema in 2025.<\/p>\n
\n\tBrenek served as Executive Vice President of IMAX Corporation and President of IMAX Home. He also spent more than a decade in various senior leadership positions at The Walt Disney Company, including Senior Vice President of Worldwide Digital Cinema and Cinema Programming. Brenek was responsible for setting and executing Disney\u2019s global cinema strategy and overseeing the global transition from analog to digital cinema as Chairman of Digital Cinema Initiatives.<\/p>\n
\n\tWhile at Disney, Brenek also oversaw the company\u2019s 3D and event cinema production and programming, which included co-producing two Disney feature films and pioneering live ESPN, NBA, and NCAA sporting events for cinemas. In 2025, Brenek was presented with the International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society\u2019s first-ever Founders Award. While serving as Disney\u2019s Senior Vice President of International In-Home, Brenek oversaw a multi-billion-dollar division leading groundbreaking home streaming and television distribution partnerships in more than 70 countries. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
