Cops are investigating whether singer Lauren Bennett killed herself in England, reports say.<\/p>\n

Multiple authorities believe the \u201cParty Rock Anthem\u201d star most likely died by suicide in the UK on May 29, according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Her father, Richard Bennett, previously claimed the National Health Service failed to appropriately treat her for five months<\/a> before her death aged 36<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMonths before her death, Lauren experienced a severe reaction to a prescribed medication,\u201d her father, Richard, said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a family, we all rallied around her and did everything we could to support her. We have no suspicions regarding the circumstances of her death, only deep disappointment that, for five months, medical professionals and NHS services failed to treat her appropriately during her time of greatest need.\u201d<\/p>\n

An investigation into her passing was opened on June 12, TMZ reported<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Page Six confirmed the investigation<\/a> is being led by Kent and Medway Coroner Service and is expected to proceed until an Oct. 30 inquest. Bennett\u2019s cause of death has yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear what medication Lauren was taking. The California Post reached out to Richard for comment.<\/p>\n

Richard says his daughter was \u201cdeeply loved\u201d and \u201cwill be missed every day for the rest of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope she will be remembered for her remarkable achievements, her beautiful music, and the incredible person she was. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, her family, and through the music she leaves behind,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He said he first knew Lauren was talented at a young age of 12, when she began performing professionally.<\/p>\n

\u201cWatching her grow into the artist she became was one of the greatest joys of my life. Her achievements in the music industry were beyond our wildest dreams and continue to make me so proud,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
