The outing marked the first time Lauer had been photographed since March<\/a>, when he was seen on a night out with Abas.\u00a0<\/p>\nAn onlooker tells PEOPLE that Lauer and Abas appeared \u201cvery happy together, and were holding hands at one point and smiling and chatting with everyone there.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another source says Lauer, who lives full time in Sag Harbor in the Hamptons, is \u201chappy and doing well.
