{"id":2494321,"date":"2026-07-09T01:38:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T01:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2494321"},"modified":"2026-07-09T01:38:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T01:38:08","slug":"justin-baldoni-breaks-silence-on-shocking-blake-lively-settlement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/justin-baldoni-breaks-silence-on-shocking-blake-lively-settlement\/","title":{"rendered":"Justin Baldoni breaks silence on shocking Blake Lively settlement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Justin Baldoni is speaking out after <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/04\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-and-justin-baldoni-reach-shocking-agreement-in-it-ends-with-us-battle-before-trial\/\">settling his long legal battle<\/a> with Blake Lively.<\/p>\n<p>In a video the actor <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reels\/DajZGpGx7dh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">posted to Instagram<\/a> Wednesday, his wife, Emily Baldoni, said they were feeling \u201cimmense gratitude\u201d for those who supported them since Lively first came forward with allegations in December 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Justin noted, \u201cGratitude has saved us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Emily said that the gratitude did not \u201cnegate the injustice and pain\u201d they\u2019ve felt over the past few years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve tried to wrestle with so many things and try to understand so many things like how can something happen like this even happen, let alone disguise as a fight for women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just wanted to let the justice system run its course,\u201d Justin said, as Emily added, \u201cAnd the truth and facts have spoken for themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The director said the two are \u201chealing\u201d after going through a traumatic experience. Mango for NY Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Justin and Lively, 38, settled their intense court battle stemming from their film, \u201cIt Ends With Us,\u201d on May 4 \u2014 just two weeks before their trial was scheduled to begin.<\/p>\n<p>The settlement came a month after a judge\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/02\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-dealt-devastating-blow-in-ongoing-justin-baldoni-harassment-lawsuit\/\">threw out 10 out of 13 of Lively\u2019s claims<\/a>, including her claim that Baldoni sexually harassed her.<\/p>\n<p>In a joint statement to Page Six about their settlement, the two noted, \u201cThe end product \u2014 the movie \u2018It Ends With\u00a0Us\u2019 \u2014 is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life.
