{"id":2494583,"date":"2026-07-09T06:59:01","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T06:59:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2494583"},"modified":"2026-07-09T06:59:01","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T06:59:01","slug":"local-artist-music-festival-to-return-to-new-mexico-state-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/local-artist-music-festival-to-return-to-new-mexico-state-fair\/","title":{"rendered":"Local artist music festival to return to New Mexico State Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"storyContent\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. \u2014 A music festival comprised entirely of local artists is returning to the New Mexico State Fair this year at the Chevron Pavilion. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second annual Soundwave NM festival is set for Saturday, Sept. 19, starting at 11 a.m. It\u2019ll feature six New Mexico-based musical acts, listed in order of appearance:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Edward Brewer<\/li>\n<li>JD Nash &amp; The Rash of Cash<\/li>\n<li>Clarq<\/li>\n<li>The Backlash<\/li>\n<li>Russian Girlfriends<\/li>\n<li>Metalachi<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe New Mexico State Fair is the best place to highlight and share the rich musical talent from around New Mexico,\u201d said Fair general manager Dan Mourning. \u201cSoundwave NM is back for the second year in a row and we\u2019re excited to make things even bigger. The Chevron Pavilion will be rocking out, making this a can\u2019t-miss festival!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year, Soundwave NM took place on a Sunday in Tingley Coliseum, featuring acts such as Sisterbaby and Slums of Harvard.
