Hart of Dixie <\/i>alum Jaime King <\/b><\/a>is revealing where her friendship with Taylor Swift <\/b><\/a>stands after her 10-year-old son Leo was seemingly absent from his godmother\u2019s star-studded nuptials to Travis Kelce<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason Jaime chose Taylor as Leo Thames\u2019s godmother is because they both believe that being a godmother is a deeply personal and spiritual commitment that has nothing to do with public appearances,\u201d a rep for King, 47, tells Us Weekly <\/i>in a statement. \u201cLeo Thames is still too young for a large adult wedding celebration, but he and his mother were able to joyfully celebrate Taylor and Travis\u2019s marriage in his own very special, age-appropriate way during his summer break.\u201d<\/p>\n

After King and ex-husband Kyle Newman <\/b>welcomed son Leo in 2015, the then-couple enlisted Swift, 36, to be his godmother. (King and Newman, 50, are also parents of son James, who was born in 2013.)<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s amazing. She\u2019s great!\u201d King exclusively told Us<\/i><\/span><\/a> <\/i>in December 2016 of Swift. \u201cAs she is with everybody around her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift later married Kelce, 36, on Friday, July 3, in a grand-yet-intimate ceremony<\/span><\/a> held inside New York City\u2019s Madison Square Garden arena. It is not known whether King herself was present, though the actress has long championed Swift\u2019s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m f***ing stoked,\u201d King told Us <\/i>in November 2025<\/span><\/a>, months after Kelce popped the question. \u201cLike, this is absolutely, this is the person. This is her person. Yeah, I\u2019m so happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift and Kelce have been together since 2023, three years before their big day earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Per the insider, Kelce and Swift transformed MSG into an enchanted garden with light peach drapery, coordinating floral arrangements, greenery, candles and decked out the venue with framed photos chronicling the duo\u2019s romance.<\/p>\n
