John Stamos<\/strong> <\/a>is making it very clear that he has no plans to join Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the Tuesday, July 7, episode of \u201cThe Bobbycast\u201d podcast<\/a>, Stamos, 62, claimed he\u2019s been asked to participate \u201cevery single season\u201d but won\u2019t sign up.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018Don\u2019t ever ask me again,\u2019\u201d Stamos continued. \u201cI\u2019m never gonna do that show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Host Bobby Bones<\/strong>, who won season 27 of the ABC ballroom dance competition, urged Stamos to reconsider. Bones, 46, suggested that Stamos would \u201clearn so much\u201d about himself from the experience<\/a>, especially if he worked with pro Emma Slater<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just never \u2026 What makes that show good is people suffering and looking like fools,\u201d Stamos replied. \u201cThey\u2019re breaking their feet, calluses \u2026 I don\u2019t want that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stamos previously shut down the possibility of competing on DWTS via X in 2010, writing, \u201cI\u2019m not doing Dancing With the Stars. Flattered to be asked. I\u2019m not a dancer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite DWTS<\/em> not being on his wishlist<\/a>, Stamos has an open mind when it comes to accepting projects.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I am] in this phase of my career where I\u2019m really looking for challenging, different roles,\u201d he told People in March. \u201cPeople trust me. I\u2019ve been coming to their homes for 30, 40 years or whatever. It\u2019s like, \u2018OK, we\u2019ll take this ride with him,\u2019 and then it\u2019s like, \u2018Oh no, oh no, it\u2019s getting weird. It\u2019s getting weird.\u2019\u201c<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cI just did Hunting Wives, which is a pretty dark, wild show.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Full House<\/em> alum previously recalled wife Caitlin McHugh<\/strong>\u2018s reaction to him joining the hit Netflix show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI told my wife I was doing it, and she said, \u2018Are you gonna show your penis?\u2019\u201d he recalled on Today in December 2025. \u201cAnd I said, \u2018I don\u2019t think so.\u2019 But it\u2019s one of those shows.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, host Craig Melvin<\/strong> asked whether Stamos already verified in his scripts that he has no nude scenes, but the actor said he hadn\u2019t read anything yet about his role.<\/p>\n

Asked whether the possible nudity would be a dealbreaker for him<\/a>, Stamos replied, \u201cWell, we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n
