The song arrives two months after the release of O\u2019Brien\u2019s sophomore <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/ed-obrien-interview-solo-album-radiohead-tour-1235525730\/\">solo record <em>Blue Morpho<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cAbbeycwmhir\u201d takes its name from a village in Powys, Wales, the Welsh translating to \u201cAbbey in the Long Valley\u201d in English. Across the four years he recorded the album, he found solace in reconnecting with the nature of the Welsh countryside.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cI\u2019d take our dog, Ziggy, and we\u2019d go off and walk,\u201d O\u2019Brien said. \u201cThere are a lot of places of spiritual significance in this land, whether it\u2019s an old monastery or abbey, or a mountain or a waterfall. I was drawn to these places, and through that, I healed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been a really beautiful journey,\u201d he added of <em>Blue Morpho<\/em>. \u201cThis record has taken a long time, but I wouldn\u2019t change it, because there\u2019s been so much life in the record, and that has added to the richness\u2026 It felt honest, and at the end of the day, that\u2019s the most important thing for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tO\u2019Brien will promote <em>Blue Morpho<\/em> on a short European tour set to launch in October. In his <em>Rolling Stone<\/em> interview, he also revealed that Radiohead plan to play 20 shows on a different continent each year. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cWe do not ever want it to be like we\u2019re going through the motions or we\u2019re having to run on empty,\u201d he said of the band. \u201cWe\u2019ve got to be able to do it. And you know what?
