Savannah Guthrie was out again from Today<\/em> this week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Her absence, however, reportedly has nothing to do with her mom Nancy Guthrie’s case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Savannah’s mom Nancy went missing on Feb. 1.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Savannah Guthrie <\/a>was absent once again from the Today<\/em><\/a> show this week.<\/p>\n The anchor was not on the Wednesday or Thursday broadcasts of the morning show amid her mom Nancy Guthrie<\/a>‘s abduction investigation. The case, however, has nothing to do with Savannah’s absence, according to PEOPLE<\/a>.<\/p>\n A source told the outlet that Savannah is simply taking a few days off for summer break, and is expected to return on Monday, July 13.<\/p>\n Sheinelle Jones<\/a> filled in for Savannah alongside Craig Melvin<\/a> on July 8, and Laura Jarrett stepped in at the anchor desk on July 9.<\/p>\n The last time Savannah was seen on Today <\/em>was Tuesday, when she swapped outfits<\/a> mid-broadcast in order to match her colleagues who were all wearing yellow.<\/p>\n “You guys, did you really have a memo? I’m changing!” Savannah confessed before a commercial break on the show.<\/p>\n Next thing her surprised cohosts knew, Guthrie was in a yellow gingham dress on the Today<\/em> plaza.<\/p>\n “I love that you just found this yellow dress,” Dylan Dreyer <\/a>told Savannah, who replied, “I did, girls! I wanted to be with my ladies.”<\/p>\n Melvin and fellow cohost Carson Daly<\/a> also sported yellow ties for the reported now-weekly occasion.<\/p>\n Yellow is a significant color for Savannah, who has been gifted sunny-hued flowers and has sported yellow ribbons<\/a> in support of her 84-year-old mother.<\/p>\n Nancy went missing from her home in Tucson, Ariz., on Feb. 1, and an investigation on the case has been ongoing.<\/p>\n
