Rapper Ye, previously known as Kanye West, has announced that his intermittent stadium tour is headed for the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He is slated to headline the Superdome on Friday, Aug. 28.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A ticket presale starts on July 15. Tickets go on sale to the general public on July 17.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A link to preregister for ticket access is available at www.yelouisiana.com\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The New Orleans date is one of only six concerts currently listed on his website<\/a>, three of which are in Europe.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He’s scheduled to perform in Tirana, Albania, on July 11; Madrid, Spain on July 30; and Algarve, Portugal on Aug. 7.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After the New Orleans show on Aug. 28, he’ll play two shows at Chicago’s Soldier Field on Sept. 3-4, if all goes as planned.<\/p>\n

West last performed in New Orleans on Dec. 5, 2013, when his Yeezus Tour<\/a>\u00a0stopped at what is now the Smoothie King Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He appeared at the Essence Festival<\/a> of Culture in the Superdome in 2008 and 2011.<\/p>\n
