“I would like to clear up the rumblings of my son having involvement in the Ladera Ranch fire,” Pedranti wrote in an Instagram Story<\/a>. “He and others were involved. My ex husband and myself take this very serious. This behavior is unacceptable and we are deeply sorry to our community. According to the Orange County Fire Authority<\/a>, multiple 911 calls came in at 4:45 p.m. to report a blaze threatening homes in the area of Narrow Canyon Road and Acaster Way.<\/p>\nInitially estimated to be three acres<\/a>, the vegetation fire more than doubled as firefighters battled the flames in a coordinated response from the ground and air<\/a> with multiple helicopters and a fixed-wing airplane.<\/p>\nWithin two hours, the fire was deemed “under control” by the OCFA without any injuries or property damage.<\/p>\n
Pedranti didn’t specify which of her four sons \u2013 who range in age from 12 to 22 \u2013 was involved, but she vowed there would be consequences for their actions.<\/p>\n
“The fire and police were absolutely amazing and gave these boys a lesson they will never forget,” said the reality star. “There were no arrests made, but consequences for actions are being put into place. He will be taking a fire safety course to make sure a mistake like this never happens again. There are consequences within our family and we will make sure our son learns from this accident.”<\/p>\n
