The first celebrities heading to the <\/span>Strictly Come Dancing<\/b> ballroom have officially been revealed\u00a0 and it\u2019s already shaping up to be one of the show\u2019s biggest line-ups yet.<\/span><\/p>\n

The BBC has confirmed the first five famous faces who\u2019ll be taking part the dance competition this September.<\/span><\/p>\n

Leading the line-up is <\/span>EastEnders<\/b> favourite <\/span>Lacey Turner<\/b>, who admitted she\u2019s been a huge fan of the show for years.<\/span><\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI am so excited to be making my way to the dance floor this year to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing! I am a huge fan and can\u2019t quite believe I will be taking part and not watching at home this year.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Joining her is <\/span>Love Island<\/b> winner <\/span>Dani Dyer<\/b>, who joked she\u2019s hoping to finally make it past week one after previously appearing in the show\u2019s Christmas special.<\/span><\/p>\n

Australian singer <\/span>Delta Goodrem<\/b> is also set to take on the glitterball challenge, saying she\u2019s performed on stages all over the world but has never stepped onto a ballroom floor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Celebrity hairstylist <\/span>Chris Appleton<\/b>, who\u2019s worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, will be returning to the UK to compete, saying he\u2019s ready to swap the salon for the dance floor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Completing today\u2019s announcement is reigning <\/span>Love Island<\/b> champion <\/span>Cach Mercer<\/b>. The model and DJ\u00a0 \u00a0said ballroom dancing has always been a passion and he\u2019s excited to learn the Foxtrot for the very first time.<\/span><\/p>\n

The celebrity announcements come ahead of the new series, which will once again see the contestants judged by <\/span>Craig Revel Horwood<\/b>, <\/span>Motsi Mabuse<\/b>, <\/span>Anton Du Beke<\/b> and head judge <\/span>Shirley Ballas<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, <\/span>Emma Willis<\/b>, professional dancer <\/span>Johannes Radebe<\/b> and comedian <\/span>Josh Widdicombe<\/b> will front the companion coverage throughout the series.<\/span><\/p>\n
