Donald Glover<\/a>, a.k.a. Childish Gambino<\/a>, lends his instantly recognizable voice to \u201cRunning<\/a>,\u201d a new track<\/a> from Dahi out now.<\/p>\n

In tandem with the song\u2019s release is word that Dahi, whose undeniable CV also boasts past collaborations with Kendrick Lamar<\/a> (\u201cMoney Trees\u201d) and Drake<\/a> (\u201cWorst Behavior\u201d), among numerous others, will be rolling out his debut studio album later this year. Titled Black Boy (Alternative)<\/em>, the project, also featuring Kendrick and Vince Staples<\/a>, just to name a couple, is out Aug. 28.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cRunning,\u201d as Dahi explained in a statement shared with Complex, stands as an \u201chomage\u201d to his heritage.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cBlack is beautiful,\u201d the California-born Grammy<\/a> winner said, adding that he\u2019s \u201cbringing all I love into one space.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ahead of the announcement, Dahi let fans know just how long he\u2019s been waiting to unveil the 11-track project.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been years in the making,\u201d he said on Instagram. \u201cReally excited for you to hear what we\u2019ve been cooking up.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hear \u201cRunning\u201d below via a Marissa Blair<\/a>-shot visualizer. Earlier this year, Dahi shared the Black Boy (Alternative)<\/em> singles \u201cRest Of Your Life\u201d and \u201cFind Me,\u201d with the latter featuring guest appearances from Moses Sumney and Mez.<\/p>\n

Dahi also recently opened up about his creative process in a video for Rap Portraits, emphasizing his aversion to letting financial incentives play a role in his work. He connected this to his developmental period, much of which was spent working non-creative jobs, thus giving him time to perfect his craft. To this day, the aim remains the same.<\/p>\n
