Inspired by their dad\u2019s past crimes (and, of course, their own desperation), they decide to pair up for their own frauds and grow closer in the process.<\/p>\n The trade reports that Robbins was inspired to write\u00a0Chicks<\/em> while working with Pompeo on the set of\u00a0Good American Family<\/em>, the true-crime-based drama that featured Pompeo as the adoptive, abusive mother of Natalia Grace.<\/p>\n \n\t\tRelated\n\t\t<\/p>\n The pilot\u2019s shoot is expected to take place in September in New York.
