Dacoury Dahi Natche, the DJ and producer known as Dahi (formerly DJ Dahi), has worked on a staggering number of great records. You’ll find him in the credits of 2010s rap classics like Kendrick Lamar’s “Money Trees,” Drake’s “Worst Behavior,” and Big Sean’s “I Don’t Fuck With You,” plus so many other songs<\/a> across genre by the likes of SZA, Tinashe, Vince Staples, Madonna, Vampire Weekend, Kehlani, ScHoolboy Q, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Denzel Curry, Kali Uchis, Lykki Li, Baby Keem, Maxo Kream… the list keeps going. He won a Grammy for 21 Savage’s “A Lot” and was once nominated as Producer Of The Year. Now he’s putting out a grand creative statement of his own.<\/p>\n In May, Dahi released a new song with Mez called “Rest Of Your Life.” Last week he dropped “Find Me,” another Mez collab, this time with the eye-popping addition of Moses Sumney. Today we learn those songs are part of Black Boy (Alternative)<\/em>, a new Dahi album due at summer’s end, with a guest list almost as long and impressive as his production catalog. <\/p>\n Beyond Sumney and Mez, the album’s features lineup includes Kendrick Lamar, Vince Staples, Amber Mark, Channel Tres, Ravyn Lenae, Obongjayar, French Anthony, Kurtis Wells, Foushe\u00e9, Elmiene, Jesse Boykins III, Baby Rose, and Ant Clemons. And on “Running,” the new single out today, Dahi teams once again with Childish Gambino, Donald Glover’s first new musical release in more than a year.
