After nearly a year of dating under the radar, the Watch What Happens Live<\/i> host confirmed his relationship with the businessman in June 2026 after they were spotted holding hands in New York City.<\/p>\n

July 2025<\/b><\/h2>\n

Cohen and Sobieski connected at a 4th of July party in the Hamptons in July 2025 \u2014 an event Cohen almost skipped.<\/p>\n

\u201cI almost didn\u2019t go and I dragged myself out. I never get invited to gay parties in the Hamptons anymore,\u201d Cohen recalled on SiriusXM\u2019s Radio Andy<\/i><\/span><\/a> <\/i>in June 2026. \u201cI went, we talked all night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sobieski, a Harvard-educated businessman, works at alternative asset management firm TPG on its portfolio operations team, focusing primarily on healthcare investments. Before dating Cohen, he was linked to composer Benj Pasek<\/strong> \u2014 of songwriting duo Pasek and Paul, who created music for La La Land<\/i> and The Greatest Showman<\/i> \u2014 from 2018 to 2022.<\/p>\n

October 2025<\/b><\/h2>\n

Cohen offered his first public hint about Sobieski during an October 2025 appearance on Alex Cooper\u2019s \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast. At the time, the TV host said he had been on \u201csome dates\u201d with a man and described his type as \u201cstrong, independent, smart\u201d and \u201chandsome.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen also opened up about his dating life as a single dad, sharing that he had tried apps including Raya and Grindr.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have kids, obviously, and so dating has really changed, and I meet two kind[s] of people,\u201d he said. \u201cPeople that I want to sleep with and people that I want to date, and we all do. And people that I want to date and sleep with, obviously. That\u2019s the goal.\u201d<\/p>\n

November 2025<\/b><\/h2>\n

By BravoCon in November 2025, Cohen was showing off photos of Sobieski to his Real Housewives<\/i> stars \u2014 and none of them leaked the news.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m showing them all pictures and nobody said a word. It never got out. I showed so many Housewives,\u201d Cohen said on his radio show the next year.<\/p>\n

June 2026<\/b><\/h2>\n

The couple\u2019s cover was blown when photos surfaced of the pair holding hands<\/span><\/a> in New York City\u2019s West Village in June 2026 on Cohen\u2019s 58th birthday. The two had dined at Italian restaurant Via Carota, according to a DeuxMoi report. Cohen wore a tan suit with a pink T-shirt, while Sobieski opted for a dark suit and pale button-up.<\/p>\n

Cohen later said he\u2019d actually been holding hands with Sobieski around town for months.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis fella and I have been holding hands all over town, you guys, so it\u2019s wild that there were photographs taken the other night,\u201d Cohen said on his radio show. \u201cPeople have said to me, \u2018You were at Via Corota. What did you expect?\u2019 I\u2019ve been in that restaurant holding hands with him for the whole time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Days later, Cohen officially addressed the relationship on Radio Andy<\/i><\/span><\/a>, telling listeners he had planned to wait until their one-year anniversary before going public.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to be with the wrong person. I value my time too much. I value my life too much,\u201d Cohen said. \u201cMy criteria about what I was looking for never changed. It\u2019s always been a feeling for me. I\u2019ve always followed the feeling. I am really happy to say that I met the person.\u201d<\/p>\n

He described Sobieski as \u201cso low-key,\u201d noted he has no entertainment background and gushed about how the businessman had fit into his family. (Cohen is a single dad of son Ben and daughter Lucy.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThis man is kind and strong and smart and he is an adult and he loves my children and they love him and I love him,\u201d Cohen gushed. \u201cIntroducing him to the kids and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly, I have to say it has been so easy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen added that after 11 months together, they hadn\u2019t had a single fight.<\/p>\n
