Fans excited for Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro <\/em>will have a whole new way to enjoy the show beyond just tuning in week after week. Announced Friday,<\/a> via the Instagram account for DWTS<\/em><\/a>alum Danielle Fishel<\/strong>‘s, Pod Meets World,<\/em> the ’90s sitcom<\/a> star along with pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong><\/a> will be hosting a podcast, entitled Stepping on Toes,<\/em> which will recap the competition. “Hear from a dance expert (and Val) as they breakdown every move, and find who will be joining the ballroom this upcoming season,” the announcement read.<\/p>\n Commenters were quick to call Fishel a “podcast queen” since, along with her Boy Meets World <\/em>recap podcast, during her time on DWTS<\/em>‘ Season 34 she also hosted Danielle with the Stars<\/em> where she talked about her experience on the show and chatted with previous celebrities, like <\/a>Jodie Sweetin,<\/strong><\/a> who also competed. She’s also the host of Teen Beat<\/em>, a podcast where she interviews celebrities from Mya <\/strong>to Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.<\/strong><\/p>\n Chmerkovskiy and Fishel also teased the announcement<\/a> with a cheeky Instagram reel posted on Thursday<\/a>.<\/p>\n Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro <\/em>will be hosted by Robert Irwin,<\/strong><\/a> who won the most recent season of the ballroom dance competition.<\/p>\n Related: The Sweet Reason Robert Irwin Credits ‘DWTS’ Partner Witney Carson Ahead of ‘Next Pro’ Hosting Gig<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n As the premiere date of the DWTS<\/em> spin-off show approaches next week, more and more info has been released \u2014 including the names and backstories of the hopefuls themselves.<\/a> One of the contestants is actually Ezra Sosa<\/strong>‘s sister<\/a>, Stephani Sosa.<\/p>\n Specifically for Irwin, he told Parade<\/a> that the role of host was “interesting.”<\/p>\n “I had spent three months in the ballroom dancing, and then all of a sudden, I was actually like a host and sort of almost a mentor to these incredible dancers,” he said. “Not a mentor for how to dance; they’re better than I’ll ever be. But to mentor how to tell stories through dance and how to really express yourself and your creativity<\/a>. And it was fun to watch people, the best in their craft, just giving everything to what they love.” Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro<\/em> premieres on Monday July 13th at at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC<\/a> and streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
