Jana Kramer<\/strong><\/a> is coming to Adam Sandler<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s defense for officiating Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will say [on] the Adam Sandler piece of things, I met him a million years ago,\u201d the actress, 42, recalled on the Friday, July 10, episode of her \u201cWhine Down\u201d podcast on iHeartRadio<\/a>. \u201cI did that movie Click<\/em> with him, because everyone was like, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s an interesting choice.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Kramer explained that while Sandler, 59, is best known for his comedic persona on screen, he differs behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of comedians you think they\u2019re going to be these very outwardly kind of crazy and wild, [and] he was so soft spoken,\u201d she said. \u201cYou know what I mean? Sweet and quiet.\u201d<\/p>\n

The One Tree Hill alum shared that Sandler completely surprised her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember watching him on set and just being like, \u2018Wow.\u2019 I always envisioned Adam Sandler as like Happy Gilmore,\u201d she recalled referring to Sandler\u2019s iconic boisterous character from the film of the same name.<\/p>\n

Kramer added that Sandler is \u201cvery intentional when he speaks and I feel like I\u2019ve seen that.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also spoke about how Sandler has maintained a sweet friendship with Jennifer Aniston<\/strong> over the years and how he always puts his family first. (The comedian has been married to wife Jackie Sandler<\/strong> since 2003 and the couple share daughters Sadie, 20, and Sunny, 17.)<\/p>\n

After thinking about his close bonds with his loved ones, Kramer explained that she can see why the Billy Madison<\/em> star was the perfect person to officiate Swift and Kelce\u2019s nuptials.<\/p>\n
