The Princess of Wales took time to meet a young disabled fan and organisers behind the scenes at Wimbledon before making her to the Royal Box this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Catherine, who turned heads with a jaw-dropping \u00a3795 Roland Mouret drape dress, displayed her characteristic polite and caring nature, as she made the day of 12-year-old Thea Stach.<\/p>\n\n

She joined thousands of fans at the All England Tennis Club to watch Czech players Karol\u00edna Muchov\u00e1 and Linda Noskov\u00e1 compete for the coveted championship.<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old royal will award the trophy to the winner on day 13 of the tournament.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Upon arrival, the princess was greeted by Sally Ambrose, a member of the Committee of Management of The Championships.<\/p>\n

Thea has cerebral palsy and autism. After an operation to lengthen her tendons, she began playing tennis through Bright Ideas for Tennis last year, aiming to recover the strength in her legs.<\/p>\n

Catherine bonded with Canadian Dabrowski, who was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in April 2024. The Princess of Wales was herself diagnosed with cancer in the same year.<\/p>\n

The tennis ace, who underwent two surgeries, radiation, and hormone therapy, shocked Catherine when she revealed that she initially kept her diagnosis secret.<\/p>\n

“I think movement, sport, exercise, really helps people get through treatment,” Catherine said.<\/p>\n

“It also helps remind us that our body is still strong, and you can do the things you love doing.”<\/p>\n
