Bobby Bones<\/strong><\/a> is coming to John Stamos<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 defense after the actor made some arguably controversial comments<\/a> about the hit reality competition show Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey everybody, it\u2019s Bobby,\u201d Bones, real name Bobby Estell, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, July 11. \u201cQuick reminder before the internet sprains something. Before anyone comes after Uncle Jesse\u2026 have mercy!!! John Stamos was clearly kidding in our Dancing with the Stars chat on my show \u2018the BobbyCast.\u2019 That was playful banter, not shade.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bones, 46, continued, \u201cIf you\u2019re reacting to a headline and not the actual conversation, that\u2019s like reviewing a movie after watching the trailer. I love John. The vibe was laughs, not insults. Watch the full thing, then we\u2019ll talk. It\u2019s on Netflix or podcast audio.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stamos, 62, made headlines while appearing on the Tuesday, July 7, episode of \u201cThe Bobbycast\u201d podcast, when he claimed he\u2019s been asked to participate on \u201cevery single season\u201d of Dancing With the Stars<\/em> to no avail.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBobby Bones still isn\u2019t sure how he won Dancing With the Stars season 27 \u2014 but he might have \u201ccheated.\u201d Bones \u2014 who took home the mirrorball trophy in 2018 with pro partner Sharna Burgess \u2014 looked back on his \u201cweird\u201d experience in the ballroom during the Monday, September 15, episode of Jason Tartick\u2018s \u201cTrading [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018Don\u2019t ever ask me again,\u201d the actor continued at the time. \u201cI\u2019m never gonna do that show.\u201d Bobby, for the uninitiated, famously won season 27 of the hit ABC ballroom dance competition. After Stamos\u2019 claim, Bones suggested that Stamos reconsider his position, adding that it\u2019s likely the actor will \u201clearn so much\u201d about himself as a result of appearing on the show.<\/p>\n

Even the dancing pros who appear alongside their celebrity counterparts on the show have shared who they think should be asked to compete for the coveted Len Goodman<\/strong><\/a> Mirrorball Trophy.<\/p>\n
