More than two decades after sharing screen space in Andaaz, actors Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta reunited at Wimbledon, and fans couldn’t help but take a trip down memory lane. Their warm reunion, complete with a hug and matching smiles, quickly sparked nostalgia for the 2003 romantic drama that marked Lara’s Bollywood debut.<\/p>\n

Priyanka shared a picture with Lara on Instagram on Sunday, showing the two posing together as she hugged her former co-star. Priyanka looked elegant in a white halterneck dress, while Lara opted for a blue outfit paired with a white shrug.<\/p>\n

Sharing the photo, Priyanka wrote, “So good to see my girl.” Lara reposted the same picture with the caption, “26 years later, happy girls are still the…” \u2014 a playful nod to their long-standing friendship that began during their pageant days.<\/p>\n

Directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Suneel Darshan, Andaaz<\/a> marked Lara Dutta<\/a>‘s Bollywood debut. The film went on to become a commercial success and remains popular for its music and performances.<\/p>\n

Apart from catching up with Lara, Priyanka was also among the celebrity guests at Wimbledon, where she watched the women’s singles semi-final between Karolna Muchova and Coco Gauff from the front row.<\/p>\n

During the match, the actor gave husband Nick Jonas a virtual courtside experience through a FaceTime call, as he was unable to attend the tournament. Priyanka later shared that Nick is a longtime Wimbledon fan and usually accompanies her, but had to miss this year’s visit as he was in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

On the work front, Priyanka is set to return to Indian cinema after eight years with SS Rajamouli’s next, Varanasi<\/a>, co-starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is currently being shot and is slated for release in April 2027.<\/p>\n

Lara, meanwhile, will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana<\/a>, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi and Sunny Deol. The two-part epic is scheduled to begin its theatrical run during Diwali 2026.<\/p>\n
