Typically closed on Mondays, the museum will be open seven days each week, including Monday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Aug. 3.<\/p>\n<p>Christina Melton, Knock Knock\u2019s executive director, says the expanded hours will help parents &#8220;beat the heat&#8221; and expose children to literacy building, STEM skills, arts, culture and career opportunities. Members unite through sisterhood and volunteering to preserve cultural heritage and support charitable causes in their area, focusing on senior care.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The donation will directly support programs that help seniors access essential resources, maintain independence and stay engaged with their community.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Sip &amp; Shop at Perkins Rowe<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"3\" style=\"position:relative;\">\n<div class=\"col-md-8\">\n<p>Sip and shop from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 15 at Perkins Rowe. Participating retailers will offer featured drinks and exclusive promotions inside their spaces.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Play Sip &amp; Shop bingo to win a $500 shopping spree by getting a Sip &amp; Shop card stamped in each store. Each bingo completed earns one entry to win. There are 13 chances to bingo.<\/p>\n<p>Each sip is meant to be enjoyed inside the store where it\u2019s served. No to-go cups. Must be over 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages.<\/p>\n<h2>River City Jazz Masters celebrates 20th season<\/h2>\n<p>The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge marks two decades of world-class jazz at the Manship Theatre with a four-concert anniversary season.
