Arthur Fery has invited the children of the Prince and Princess of Wales to play tennis with him.<\/p>\n

The professional athlete, who turns 24 on Sunday, stunned tennis fans this year to become the first British wildcard to reach The Championship\u2019s semi-finals<\/a> in Wimbledon\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Princess before she attended the Gentlemen\u2019s Singles final with her husband, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, he said: \u201cI hear your children play tennis a lot\u2026if you guys want to hit some balls anytime, that would be great.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Princess, who also handed Fery a birthday card from the family, responded: \u201cThank you, do you get some downtime now?\u201d<\/p>\n

She also told him he did a \u201cfantastic\u201d job to reach the semi-finals<\/a>, in which he lost to World No 2 Alexander Zverev on Centre Court, adding that it was a \u201cvery impressive\u201d run.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Wales family on the players\u2019 lawn before the final, Fery said: \u201cThanks a lot, I\u2019m so pleased, it was a great two weeks.<\/p>\n
