Britney Spears<\/a> has seen the photos of herself hanging out of the sunroof of a luxury SUV on a jammed Los Angeles freeway \u2014 and she has another to share.<\/p>\n The 44-year-old pop superstar addressed photos that quickly went viral after being shared by TMZ<\/a> on Friday. Spears was spotted on L.A.’s 101 freeway popping out of the sunroof of a Mercedes-Benz G-Class (or G-Wagon, as they’re commonly called) on Thursday, dancing and whooping it up.<\/p>\n On Saturday, Spears shared another angle of the now-viral moment to her Instagram, accompanied by the following caption: “What people see is two seconds of insanity of me arching me to the lords !!!!! yet the days and hours of my reality !!!!!! Nothing is what it seems.”<\/p>\n Spears frequently hits back at controversies arising from her sometimes erratic behavior on Instagram. But she returned weeks later<\/a> with a post opening up about the “hurt and pain” she has endured.”<\/p>\n The new year that followed has not been an easy one for Spears. She was arrested on suspicion of a DUI<\/a> in March, and formally charged with the offense<\/a> in April.<\/p>\n Fortunately for the Grammy winner, several factors worked in her favor to lessen the blowback: For one, it was the first charge of its kind Spears had faced up to that point. She also registered a low blood alcohol content at the time of her arrest, and there was no crash or injury involved. As a result, Spears was able to enter what’s called a “wet reckless” plea<\/a>, which allows the defendant to serve probation with credit for any time spent in custody rather than serving jail time.<\/p>\n
