Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> paused his vacation to do a little trolling, mocking Sen. Mitch McConnell<\/a> (R-Ky.) over the \u201cproof of life\u201d image posted on Sunday. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

McConnell shared a photograph of himself in a hospital bed and holding a newspaper, with his wife, former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao<\/a>, by his side. It was the first public message from McConnell since he was hospitalized on June 14<\/a>, and was an attempt to reassure constituents amid growing calls<\/a> for an update on his health. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kimmel, who has been away for nearly as long, signing off on June 18<\/a> for his annual summer break, cheekily sought to reassure his own fans that he, too, was doing well. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cFor those who\u2019ve been asking, I\u2019m feeling great,\u201d Kimmel wrote alongside an image of his face inserted into McConnell\u2019s picture: <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
