Shia LaBeouf<\/strong><\/a> claimed that Sigourney Weaver<\/strong> slapped his dad, Jeffrey Craig LaBeouf<\/strong><\/a>, for hitting on her when they worked together on the 2003 movie Holes<\/em>.<\/p>\n

While attending the Fanboy Expo fan convention in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Saturday, July 11, one fan asked Shia, 40, about his \u201cexperience\u201d of working with Cameron Diaz<\/strong> and Lucy Liu<\/strong> on 2003\u2019s Charlie\u2019s Angels: Full Throttle<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Shia responded by admitting that his father ruined his relationships with the actresses.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy dad was fresh out of prison, so we were on this set, and here\u2019s all these pretty girls walking around. Bad news,\u201d Shia told the crowd during a Transformers reunion panel, according to People<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Even Stevens\u00a0alum began dating Goth in December 2012 after they met on the set of\u00a0Nymphomaniac: Vol II. As LaBeouf\u2019s romance with Goth\u00a0continued to heat up,\u00a0Us Weekly\u00a0confirmed in March 2016 they were engaged after Goth was photographed wearing a large diamond [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He added that his dad \u201cwas hitting on all three of those women all the time,\u201d seemingly referring to Charlie\u2019s Angels: Full Throttle<\/em> stars Diaz, 53, Liu, 57, and Drew Barrymore.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shia alleged that Jeffrey\u2019s behavior got so out of hand that Liu would actively avoid Shia\u2019s father onset. \u201cShe couldn\u2019t stand him. But he wasn\u2019t going nowhere, he\u2019s my dad. So we were just hanging out all the time, and Lucy Liu would always do these big circles around my trailer,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Shia then said that there was a similar situation on the set of Holes<\/em> with Weaver, 76. \u201cMy dad\u2019s been kicked off of so many sets, dude,\u201d he said. \u201cHe hit on Sigourney Weaver one time. She slapped him on Holes, on the Holes set. So, that\u2019s probably\u2026 that\u2019s what I remember from Charlie\u2019s Angels<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shia was a teenager while filming both Charlie\u2019s Angels: Full Throttle<\/em> and Holes<\/em>, meaning he had to have an adult supervisor with him on set.<\/p>\n

Reps for Liu, Weaver and Shia did not immediately respond to Us<\/em>\u2019 request for comment regarding the claims.<\/p>\n

Jeffrey was previously convicted of attempted rape in 1981 and served time in prison<\/a> until 1983, according to The Sun<\/em><\/a>. He told journalist Aaron Gell<\/strong> during a 2019 interview<\/a> that he had \u201ca conviction for attempted rape\u201d and \u201cwas registered as a sex offender under Megan\u2019s Law.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI went to the joint for attempted rape. This was in 1980. Whatever I was doing, I have no clue. I was blackout drunk,\u201d Jeffrey claimed at the time.<\/p>\n

Shia has been open about his complicated relationship with Jeffrey<\/a> in the past, and their dynamic even served as inspiration for his semi-autobiographical 2019 movie Honey Boy<\/em>. The film, which he starred in and wrote, follows a young actor\u2019s tumultuous childhood and early adult years as he reconciles with his abusive father.<\/p>\n
