Beginning Monday, July 13 at 12pm ET, tune in to The Kelly Clarkson Connection (Ch. 12)<\/a> on the SiriusXM app<\/a> and in your car to hear the world premiere of Kelly\u2019s new song, \u201cI\u2019d Be Lyin\u2019.\u201d The song will continue airing exclusively on the channel until its global release on Friday, July 17.<\/p>\n

The exclusive premiere is part of SiriusXM\u2019s ongoing partnership with Kelly, whose channel features her music, favorite artists, and behind-the-scenes stories from throughout her career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d Be Lyin’\u201d marks Kelly\u2019s first new single since 2025\u2019s \u201cWhere Have You Been,\u201d which also debuted first on The Kelly Clarkson Connection before its wide release.<\/a><\/p>\n

Kelly Clarkson is also offering fans a preview of what they can expect from her new single, describing it as a confident, attitude-filled anthem.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe vibe in the verse is kind of \u2014 it\u2019s not like Prince, but it\u2019s definitely Prince-inspired with the staccato kind of poppiness of it,\u201d Kelly says on her channel. \u201cIt has a lot of attitude, and then the chorus kind of opens up into this major pop-rock vibe that is very reminiscent of a Kelly Clarkson empowerment anthem.\u201d<\/p>\n

She adds that the song was one of her favorite tracks to make.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very sarcastic, and it was fun as hell to make,\u201d Kelly says. \u201cI like a fun, anthemic, sarcastic song.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an exclusive SiriusXM video, Kelly plays a game of \u201cI\u2019d Be Lyin’\u201d by responding to a series of statements with complete honesty. She shares whether she really enjoys working out, if she\u2019s active on social media, whether she ever forgets the lyrics to her own songs, and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we all know I would be lying \u2014 especially specifically if I wrote it,\u201d Kelly jokes when asked if she always remembers her lyrics. \u201cWhen you are in the writing stage sometimes you change lyrics and you\u2019re like, \u2018I could do better,\u2019 and so then I forget what I change.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also reveals that her music taste spans every genre.<\/p>\n
