A summer music festival at the King’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk has been cancelled at the 11th hour due to low ticket sales and escalating costs. The Heritage Live festival was scheduled to take place in August and would have featured performances from major international recording artists including Lionel Richie, Christina Aguilera and Eric Clapton. Lionel Richie was set to perform his only show in Britain that year on August 20, with Christina Aguilera, Craig David and Blue performing the following evening on August 21. Ricky Martin, the Sugababes and Olly Alexander were scheduled for August 22, with Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood and Andy Fairweather Low closing the festival on August 23.<\/p>\n The festival venue holds particular significance given its proximity to a member of the royal family’s residence. The concerts were to be held about two miles from a new house within the royal estate. In 2023, the King started offering Heritage Live concerts, which were to be three days long.
