King Charles has reportedly reached the end of his tether following Prince Harry’s behaviour in the lead-up to and during his UK visit last week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The Duke of Sussex, 41, spent five days in his birth country with a jam-packed schedule to promote the Invictus Games 2027<\/a>, which he founded in 2014 to support wounded military veterans.<\/p>\n However, the 41-year-old’s homecoming was overshadowed from the start, with headlines dominated by the duke’s security complaints<\/a> and a row over royal accommodation.<\/a><\/p>\n It was also announced at the last minute that Meghan Markle, 44, and their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, would no longer be travelling with Harry<\/a> and only joined the duke for the final days of his visit.<\/p>\n According to a royal insider, this decision “seriously hurt” King Charles, 77, as he had not seen his grandchildren for four years.<\/p>\n \u201cHarry\u2019s behaviour in the lead-up to, and during, his recent visit to the UK was almost the final straw for Charles,\u201d the insider told New Idea.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s been Harry\u2019s last remaining champion, of sorts, in the Royal Family, but after recent events, even Charles has had enough… [he’s] over the drama and chaos.<\/p>\n \u201cHe never wanted it to come to this, but now it\u2019s so serious; Harry\u2019s inheritance could even be on the line.\u201d<\/p>\n Some within royal circles are said to be speculating that the King could cut Harry off for good and remove him from his will.<\/p>\n Should the monarch resort to drastic action, New Idea\u2019s source said the duke would be \u201ctotally blindsided\u201d.<\/p>\n On Friday, Harry and Meghan took their children to visit King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.<\/p>\n The visit marked the first time King Charles, 77, had seen Meghan, 44, or his grandchildren since Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022, and Buckingham Palace described it as a “private family occasion”.<\/a><\/p>\n Archie and Lilibet, who have been raised in Montecito, California, were reportedly “awestruck<\/a>” after meeting their grandfather at the 18th-century Georgian manor.<\/p>\n “It has really opened the door for Harry to tell them more about their heritage and what it means to be a part of the monarchy,\u201d an insider told Woman’s Day.<\/p>\n \u201cIt really can’t be overstated how integral Archie and Lili are when it comes to forging a path forward with the King and the rest of the Royal Family.\u201d<\/p>\n
