Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> will welcome Ben Affleck<\/a>, Larry David<\/a>, Michael Keaton<\/a> and several of Kimmel\u2019s fellow late-night stars to the hot seat when Who Wants to Be a Millionaire<\/em> returns for its fifth season a week from today.<\/p>\n The ABC game show will return Wednesday, July 22, at 8 p.m., with 16 celebrity pairs attempting to win as much as $1 million for charities of their choice. <\/p>\n Among this season\u2019s late-night representatives are The Daily Show<\/a><\/em> correspondent-host Michael Kosta<\/a>, who will team with Wendi McLendon-Covey (St Denis Medical<\/em>), and Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/em> \u201cWeekend Update\u201d anchors Colin Jost<\/a> and Michael Che<\/a>.<\/p>\n The season will feature another SNL<\/em> pairing in former cast members Will Forte<\/a> and Taran Killam<\/a>, while Jason Alexander<\/a> and Wayne Knight will stage a mini Seinfeld<\/em> reunion.<\/p>\n Larry David<\/a> will compete alongside his daughter Cazzie David<\/a> for the season premiere, while Ben Affleck<\/a> will be paired with Jamie Ding, the recent Jeopardy!<\/em> champion whose 31-game winning streak presumably makes him the person Affleck will want handling most of the questions.<\/p>\n Other comedy pairings include Tig Notaro<\/a> and Pete Holmes<\/a>, Paul Scheer<\/a> and Rob Huebel, and Awkwafina and director Paul Feig<\/a>. Michael Keaton will play with Jon Lovett<\/a>.<\/p>\n The remaining teams are Jesse Eisenberg<\/a> and Paul Giamatti<\/a>; Krysten Ritter and Sarah Shahi; Billy Porter and Leslie Odom Jr.; Brad Paisley<\/a> and Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw; Nobody Wants This<\/em> co-stars Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn; and sisters Brooks Nader<\/a> and Sarah Jane Nader<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kimmel has hosted and executive produced ABC\u2019s revived Millionaire<\/em> since 2020. The current version features celebrity pairs playing together for charity.<\/p>\n The series is also heading into Season 5 with two new Primetime Emmy nominations for last year\u2019s fourth season. Millionaire<\/em> was nominated for Outstanding Game Show, while Kimmel received a nod for Outstanding Host for a Game Show\u2014the same category he won last year.<\/p>\n Last season produced two million-dollar victories.
