From professional athletes to award-winning actors and singers, around 1,000 guests attended Taylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/a>\u2019s lavish wedding at Madison Square Garden. But since the July 3 nuptials, quite a few stars have come forward and revealed they had to decline the invitation, including Shania Twain<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During a recent appearance on the Canadian talk show ETalk<\/em>, Twain revealed that she couldn\u2019t attend Swift and Kelce\u2019s wedding because she had prior commitments\u2014one that involved Swift\u2019s ex-boyfriend, Harry Styles<\/a>. Twain was the opening act for Styles\u2019 12-show residency at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium, which overlapped with Swift and Kelce\u2019s big day.<\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor Swift<\/a> invited me to her wedding, and I couldn\u2019t go because I was already committed to Harry\u2019s shows,\u201d Twain explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She added that \u201cit\u2019s just kind of funny that that happened that way,\u201d clearly referencing Swift and Styles\u2019 romantic relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was already committed, and I couldn\u2019t go,\u201d Twain continued. \u201cI would have done anything to be at Taylor\u2019s wedding. I would have done anything<\/em>, and that would have been really lovely for me to be there. But I was with Harry.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cMan! I Feel Like a Woman\u201d singer then joked, \u201cIf Harry ever gets married and he wants me at his wedding, then\u2026 he\u2019s going to have to ask me more in advance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift and Styles briefly dated from 2012 to 2013. The pair reportedly met at the Kids\u2019 Choice Awards in March 2012 and sparked romance rumors in November when the \u201cStyle\u201d hitmaker started wearing a paper airplane necklace similar to the one Styles wore at the time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They were spotted together numerous times, including in Times Square on New Year\u2019s Eve, before calling it quits in January 2013. Swift and Styles reportedly broke up on bad terms<\/a>, and it\u2019s rumored that much of Swift\u2019s album 1989<\/em> was inspired by the former One Direction member.<\/p>\n
