\u201cI\u2019ve always loved hip-hop culture, but I wanted to blend it authentically with our native Punjabi vibe. \u2018SIX\u2019 is about hitting it out of the park. It\u2019s about the grind, the focus, and the mindset it takes to stay at the top. Having Kiran Bajwa back on a track with me made this sonic shift feel natural. We\u2019ve built a specific musical trust, and this track represents the next step in our collaborative journey,\u201d Randhawa said in a statement.<\/p>\n
His longtime collaborator Kiran Bajwa said they wanted the song to feel both gritty and triumphant.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen Guru Randhawa and I first started working on the concept for \u2018SIX,\u2019 we knew we wanted something that felt both gritty and triumphant. Our past collaborations were about lifestyle and energy, but this one is about pure drive. It\u2019s a side of Guru his fans haven\u2019t seen before and it\u2019s meant for anyone out there who is winning,\u201d Bajwa said.<\/p>\n
Randhawa and Bajwa previously collaborated on \u201cSirra,\u201d from the album \u201cWithout Prejudice,\u201d and the single \u201cSHKINI.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSIX\u201d focuses on victory, determination, resilience and self-confidence. The song explores the effort behind success and encourages listeners to overcome challenges, ignore distractions and remain focused on their goals.<\/p>\n
