With the 2026 Emmy nominations finally revealed, it’s hard to believe a full year has passed since season 3 of The <\/em>White Lotus<\/em><\/a> competed.<\/p>\n Among the beloved show’s nominees was reliable scene-stealer Parker Posey<\/strong><\/a>, AKA the original “Party Girl” given her 1995 starring vehicle of the name. I don’t have the will,'” Posey said in a statement shared with Parade<\/em>. “So thank you<\/a>, [show creator] Mike White<\/strong>, for adding ‘the extra.'”<\/p>\n Posey continued, “You could say White Lotus<\/em> made an experiential lane of a kind of hosting-meets-theater-in-one’s-own-home \u2014 more of that, please! If I can mention here, how happy I am to be riding the caftan-trend: where I can dress it up with heels, dress it down with flats, and wear no shoes when I nap or sleep.”<\/p>\n The Best in Show<\/em> actress also shared about a memorable Hollywood party that has stuck with her over the years.<\/p>\n “I\u00a0was talking to Goldie Hawn<\/strong> at a Golden Globe party and the\u00a0party-ring I was wearing flew off my finger\u00a0and\u00a0I had to crawl around to find it,” she said. It made us both laugh… we’d\u00a0been talking\u00a0deep\u00a0about the lack of joy we were noticing in the\u00a0culture!
