Kate Gosselin<\/strong><\/a> is reassuring fans that she’s doing just fine despite what she described as recent “negative energy” in her life.<\/p>\n The Jon & Kate Plus 8<\/em> alum responded to a supportive follower on TikTok<\/a> this week after sharing videos from a road trip<\/a> out West with her dogs and longtime boyfriend<\/a>, Steve Neild<\/strong>.<\/p>\n When one fan encouraged her to ignore the negativity that had recently come her way, Gosselin offered a candid update. “I’m sorry if negative energy has come your way. Keep living life honey!!!!!” the follower wrote in the comments.<\/p>\n “I am and I’m fine,” Gosselin, 51, replied. “This is honestly small compared to what me and my other kids have been through back in the day….”<\/p>\n While Gosselin didn’t specify exactly what prompted the comment, it comes just weeks after her estranged son, Collin Gosselin<\/strong>, announced his upcoming memoir, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood<\/em>, which is scheduled for release on October<\/a> 13.<\/p>\n The family drama has continued to play out publicly in recent weeks. After one social media user suggested Kate sue Collin for defamation if the allegations in his book are false, she responded, “I can’t bc I’m a public figure. Rules are different unfortunately. Or I def would!”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Collin recently claimed one of his own public challenges to his mother has gone unanswered.
