On June 26, Parveen Ashraf, known as \u201cParveen the Spice Queen,\u201d shared a video on Instagram<\/a> announcing that she feels ready to return to work after taking time away following a personal tragedy.<\/p>\n\u201cWhatever that means, I\u2019m not even sure yet,\u201d she said. \u201cI had a personal tragedy, and I lost my husband about six months ago. And those that have lost somebody, you know how painful this is.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 61-year-old chef said she believes her late husband, Qamar Ashraf, would not want her to remain focused on her sadness.<\/p>\n

She said he was \u201ctaken from us tragically and suddenly a few weeks ago.\u201d<\/p>\nAlongside family photos, Ashraf wrote that her husband was \u201cin the wrong place at the wrong time\u201d and was killed during a robbery in Ghana.<\/p>\n
