Notably, <strong>Ike Barinholtz<\/strong> is serving as one of the guest hosts of the ABC late-night talk show during Kimmel\u2019s current absence.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-seth-rogen-on-being-afraid-of-javier-bardem-during-romantic-scenes-with-penelope-cruz\">Seth Rogen on being afraid of Javier Bardem during romantic scenes with Pen\u00e9lope Cruz<\/h2>\n<p>Rogen appeared on <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-nsGrcAjQkA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a> to promote The Invite. Barinholtz noted that he had seen the film, adding that he \u201cloved\u201d it and saying it was his \u201cfavorite movie of the year.\u201d He joked that the movie made him \u201chorny\u201d and brought up Rogen\u2019s \u201cvery sexy scenes\u201d with Cruz. The Fabelmans actor continued, \u201cAnd Olivia Wilde, the director, was just like, \u2018Why do you keep thanking her? What are you doing? Why do you keep saying thank you?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rogen recalled that he responded by saying that he didn\u2019t know. He elaborated, \u201cI was like, \u2018It\u2019s just what\u2019s coming out of my mouth. All I have is gratitude for this. And I would just thank her. I would be apologetic and thankful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Barinholtz humorously assured Rogen that Bardem is \u201ccool with that,\u201d the latter quipped, \u201cI don\u2019t think he views me as a legitimate threat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Olivia Wilde directed The Invite from a script by Will McCormack and Rashida Jones, who developed it as an English-language remake of Spanish filmmaker Cesc Gay\u2019s The People Upstairs. Besides Rogen and Cruz, the cast includes Edward Norton and Wilde.
