Chloe Fineman<\/a> is saying goodbye to \u201cSaturday Night Live.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cAfter 7 wonderful seasons at SNL I have decided it\u2019s time for my next chapter,\u201d the actor wrote Thursday on Instagram<\/a>. Fineman joined \u201cSNL\u201d at the start of the 2019-2020 season, and quickly became a fan favorite for her stellar impersonations of stars, politicians and even her castmates. <\/p>\n She\u2019s impersonated Britney Spears, Drew Barrymore, JoJo Siwa, Harry Styles, Reese Witherspoon, Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, Jennifer Coolidge, Parker Posey, Anna Delvey, Tiffany Trump, Nicole Kidman and more. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s cliche to say this but working at SNL has been the greatest privilege of my life. I still can\u2019t really believe I got to be a part of it. I fell in love with the place the second I walked through the door. Lorne (if you\u2019re reading this on your burner account) I want you to know that I am forever in your debt.\u201d<\/p>\n Fineman gushed about her \u201cSNL\u201d castmates in the goodbye missive, calling them the best in the biz. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m definitely not the first to make this observation but it really is funny looking back at it all now, because at the show you get so invested in everything you work on,\u201d she continued. \u201cYou sob uncontrollably when your sketch isn\u2019t picked. You storm into a producers office telling them they just made the biggest mistake of their lives. You call everyone you know to complain. And then you look back a few years later and it was a sketch called \u2018lipstick for thicc dogs.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut that\u2019s just the show. You respect it so much that you give it absolutely everything you have even when it\u2019s incredibly stupid. So you\u2019re ecstatic when it works out and the most devastated you\u2019ve ever been when it doesn\u2019t. And in the end it doesn\u2019t matter all that much but it did at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n Fineman said that although it\u2019s difficult to leave the NBC sketch comedy show, she feels like it\u2019s the right time. \u201cI\u2019m going to miss it a lot,\u201d she said. \u201cBut the people who work there are my family and that place is my home, and I know I\u2019ll never be too far away.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I swear to God, one day, sometime in the future, they WILL make lipstick for thicc dogs.\u201d <\/p>\n A slew of \u201cSNL\u201d castmates, alumni and hosts filled the comments section of Fineman\u2019s post, wishing the comedian luck in future endeavors. <\/p>\n According to Deadline<\/a>, Fineman is in talks to join Colin Woodell, KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero in \u201cMyron Bolitar,<\/a>\u201d a Netflix sports drama series based on Harlan Coben\u2019s book series.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
