Kim Kardashian<\/a><\/strong> shared a heartbreaking tribute to her grandma Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon<\/strong>, who died on July 16 at age 91<\/a>.<\/p>\n “My sweet Grandma MJ, my best friend, my gossip buddy, my forever twin,” she wrote on Instagram<\/a>. “You taught all of us the importance of family, and those values are something we\u2019ll carry with us forever!!!!! You were the woman who showed me what it meant to be a hardworking businesswoman.”<\/p>\n Recalling how she spent her teenage years working at MJ’s children’s clothing store, the Kardashians<\/em> star continued, “You were the woman who showed me what it meant to be a hardworking businesswoman.”<\/p>\n “You always believed in me, championed me, and were my safe place,” Kim shared. “You truly were the matriarch of our family, and your love is woven into all of us. I know you\u2019re at peace now.”<\/p>\n The SKIMS founder ended her tribute with a loving nod to other late family members, including grandpa Harry Shannon<\/strong>, dad Robert Kardashian<\/strong> and aunt Karen Houghton<\/strong>, who died in 2024<\/a> at 65.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
