In the same breath it&#8217;s also reminiscing on better times when you were younger and had hopes and dreams that no longer feel like they can come true. &#8216;downpour&#8217; is a song that portrays mixed emotions. It&#8217;s feeling depressed that you haven&#8217;t achieved anything with your life and you feel like you&#8217;re never going to amount to anything whilst also reminiscing and feeling nostalgic about better, simpler times when things made sense.
