Leon Bridges<\/a> announced his new album, Happiness Anytime<\/em>. As a preview, he has put out an EP of four songs that will be part of the album. Stream it below.<\/p>\n Happiness Anytime<\/em> will be released September 25th via Columbia Records. Bridges drafted J Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto of British neo-soul trio Jungle<\/a> to helm production of the album. Bridges came together with the members of Jungle after crossing paths at festivals, according to a press release. In a four-day writing session, the team came out with six songs that make up half the album. Bridges and company hit Chaplin Recording Studio in Los Angeles with bassist Pino Palladion, who has played with D\u2019Angelo, Adele and John Mayer, to complete the record. The album promises to be \u201ca timeless, effortless body of work \u2014 nothing fussy or over-intellectualized\u201d that \u201cwill surely make the listener feel happiness, anytime they play it.\u201d Fans can pre-order the album here<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI want this album to be something that lingers with people and lingers in people\u2019s bones,\u201d Bridges said in a statement. \u201cThere\u2019s this feeling that we have to fix the problems of the world; you feel inadequate or it can be debilitating.
