The Eurovision 2023 singer from Portugal has rerecorded 3 of her best summer songs, to deliver a beautiful \u201cQuiet Take\u201d rendition. Mimicat has consistently released incredible music since her appearance on the Eurovision stage in Liverpool with \u201cAi Cora\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, and this new release is no different. All 3 tracks are recorded live and acoustic, and are classic Mimicat delivery, with Portuguese flair and joy throughout. Fans of anything Portuguese music, Mimicat or just damn good vocal talent will enjoy these versions of Mimicat\u2019s songs. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Ac\u00fasticos para o ver\u00e3o, porque n\u00e3o? Both songs are co-written with Benjamin Schmid, songwriter behind many recent national final entries, as well as 2025 Eurovision Maltese song \u201cServing\u201d for Miriana Conte. \u201cDifferent Life\u201d is in a completely different lane to much of these previous tracks from both Schmid and H\u00e4nni, however. Both \u201cDifferent Life\u201d and \u201cVertigo\u201d see Luca deliver a much more personal, emotional, boy-bop sound. It\u2019s not the big dance vibe of \u201cShe Got Me\u201d, but it\u2019s definitely a style that suits Luca\u2019s voice. H\u00e4nni has matured as a singer and performer since his 2019 Eurovision stint, and these tracks really show off that evolution in sound. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Different Life\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/5mtQu06hYUMsUJEQgsZZ4E?si=XCQBprRnQKe6tsSqiQ3TUQ&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddec Kristian Kostov \u2013 \u201cYouth to Waste\u201d<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Kristian Kostov has already had a busy 2026. From performing as part of the 70th anniversary interval act at Eurovision in Vienna, to the launch of his new music persona Kian on songs such as \u201cShh!\u201d and \u201cDigital Lover\u201d, and the release of a fragrance line for good measure. The Bulgarian singer is back with another track this week as well. \u201cYouth to Waste\u201d sees Kristian feature on up and coming artist david hugo\u2019s latest boy-pop love song. As well as being similar to Kostov\u2019s recent releases as part of his Kian project, the song sounds incredibly inspired by the likes of Troye Sivan or LAUV. It\u2019s electric, pop love song vibes that Kristian does so well. Eurofans need no reminding of Kostov\u2019s talents, after all he holds the record for scoring the most points in the Grand Final but not actually taking the win, with his 2nd placed song \u201cBeautiful Mess\u201d in 2017. This new era of Kristian Kostov (and his Kian persona) is really exciting!<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Youth to Waste\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/55lj6QPUmG1RjPbSCZNIkk?si=8K6uNWK6TwSWZPo3ilrwJQ&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\uddf7\ud83c\uddf8 Sanja Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 \u201cEvropa\u201d<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Serbian pop princess Sanja Vu\u010di\u0107 is a 3 time Eurovision participant. First, as a solo artist at the Contest in 2016 in Stockholm with the song \u201cGoodbye\u201d, which placed 18th in the Grand Final. More recently, as a member of girl group Hurricane, Sanja was selected to represent Serbia at the 2020 Contest with the track \u201cHasta La Vista\u201d, before the cancellation of the contest due to Covid. Hurricane were re-selected in 2021 with the song \u201cLoco loco\u201d, eventually placing 15th in the Grand Final in Rotterdam. In 2022, the original members of Hurricane left the group to pursue solo careers, and new members replaced them. Sanja has had a successful career in music and television in the Balkans. Most notably, the singer performed a rendition of K\u00e4\u00e4rij\u00e4\u2019s \u201cCha Cha Cha\u201d as an interval performance in the 2024 PZE national final, as well as hosting and performing a Eurovision mega-mix in the 2026 edition of the selection show. Latest release from the singer is a live recording of her performing \u201cEvropa\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Evropa\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/6LTalRBpRk9eeCTVlBKaCz?si=0AJTxFlOSSazyDx2sZKMXg&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\uddea Nutsa \u2013 \u201cBy My Side\u201d<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Georgia\u2019s \u201cFirefighter\u201d (Eurovision 2024) Nutsa is back with another track, after a string of releases in 2026 already. Latest single \u201cBy My Side\u201d is a very different vibe for the singer, with a much more soft vocal. The song feels more personal than anything Nutsa has released before, and has almost a jazz bar feel. If you\u2019ve only ever heard of the Georgian singer from her time on the Eurovision stage (or her infamous appearance as the Georgian Jury spokesperson in 2025), then this may be a track to check out to surprise you. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: By My Side\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/75LYGHA7HZShzhUNfVCeF1?si=Qt7A6LUiS2KGzv2J-NU95A&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\uddf2 Piqued Jacks \u2013 \u201cCambio Forma\u201d<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Following Piqued Jacks release of \u201cSpecchio\u201d earlier this year, the San Marino 2023 Eurovision band have released 3 track EP \u201cCambio Forma\u201d. The EP features previous single \u201cSpeechio\u201d, as well as title track \u201cCambio Forma\u201d and new song \u201cDove Andrei\u201d. All 3 songs are actually very good Italian indie-rock, a much more refined sound than their Eurovision entry \u201cLike An Animal\u201d. The second track on the EP, \u201cDove Andrei\u201d, is particularly enjoyable rock, and if you discounted the Italian band after their Liverpool semifinal performance, give them another chance. Alternatively, if you, like me, were a fan of Piqued Jacks from their time on the Eurovision stage and follow-up releases, this only cements them as a talented indie-rock outfit. Either way, give it a listen. Piqued Jacks deserve a redemption. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Cambio Forma\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/5EerHfd83tsG1bzY91rGc0?si=bA-en4yAS9-Cm0lC5x2TpA&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\uddf7\ud83c\uddf8 \u017deljko Joksimovi\u0107 \u2013 \u201cHabanera : Summer Vibe 2026\u201d<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">\u017deljko Joksimovi\u0107 has a long history with the Eurovision Song Contest. The Serbian singer came 2nd at the Contest in Istanbul for Serbia &amp; Montenegro in 2004, with \u201cLane Moje\u201d, which is often regarded as the best Balkan song to not win the contest. After Marija \u0160erifovi\u0107 won the contest for Serbia in 2007, Joksimovi\u0107 was appointed as one of the hosts of live Eurovision shows in Belgrade. He also went on to represent Serbia in 2012, with the song \u201cNije ljubav stvar\u201d, ultimately placing 3rd in the Grand Final in Baku. \u017deljko Joksimovi\u0107 has also acted as a songwriter for some of the Balkan\u2019s biggest successes in Eurovision. Songs which feature \u017deljko Joksimovi\u0107 on the writing credits include Bosnia &amp; Herzegovina\u2019s 2006 entry \u201cLejla\u201d, Serbia\u2019s 2008 host entry \u201cOro\u201d, and Montenegro\u2019s 2015 song \u201cAdio\u201d. It\u2019s safe to say that \u017deljko Joksimovi\u0107 is a legend not just in the Balkans, but within the Eurovision community too. His latest single, \u201cHabanera : Summer Vibe 2026\u201d, is a vibey, summer Balkan bop. Imagine \u201cLane Moje\u201d, but with a cocktail on a white sand beach in blazing sunshine. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Habanera : Summer Vibe 2026\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/20XY6QnVdrZdkPirwTM4FN?si=wbgr99HiR7i2PzBhiRegWw&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\uddf7 Loukas Yorkas \u2013 \u201cSti Zoi Mou Meine\u201d<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">At the close of voting in the 2011 Eurovision Grand Final held in D\u00fcsseldorf, Loukas Yorkas and Stereo Mike finished in 7th for Greece with the track \u201cWatch My Dance\u201d. Loukas took a break from music after the contest, releasing a few songs in 2012 before concentrating on other projects. Since 2017 however, Loukas Yorkas has been back and busy, dropping multiple singles. The latest of which, \u201cSti Zoi Mou Meine\u201d, is a pleasant, country-rock-pop song, sung in Greek. The track shows Loukas can still sing, and is a happy, guitar ballad sound. It\u2019s a toe-tapper for a Greek sunset. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Sti Zoi Mou Meine\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/6Ia1Io1GUBXuU7w89wf8vg?si=eFZQ1H8MSECM2voq4MMNjw&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddf1Ronela Hajati \u2013 \u201cMala Gala (Live Version)\u201d<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Ronela featured on last week\u2019s round-up, with her new single \u201cBALUKE\u201d, but the Albanian singer has even more music. Ronela has released a live version of her 2025 hit \u201cMala Gala\u201d.
