The game show<\/a> is set to air its fifth season on ABC<\/a>, starting on Wednesday, July 22. Once again, the cast will be filled with celebrities from all different aspects of entertainment, trying to win $1 million for their charity.<\/p>\n Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>, the celebrities will answer basic knowledge questions that will get harder as the money goes up. The contestants can drop out at any point. In a video posted to Millionaire’s Instagram on July 16, the game show invited fans to “say hello to the iconic pairs taking the hot seat.”<\/p>\n As the celebrity contestants waved in the video, most of the comments said the same thing \u2014 bring back regular contestants. “Still want regular customers back, but anyway, great seeing Mr. Pool from Sabrina!” one fan said.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n ‘The Office’ Stars Win It All on ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’<\/p>\n \u00a0Related\u00a0<\/p>\n “Bring back regular contestants again!!” another wrote.<\/p>\n “Yes!” replied a fan.<\/p>\n “Please bring back regular contestants. When Weakest Link was revived, the first season was regular contestants, and then it switched to all celebrities.<\/p>\n Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? first aired in 1999 and was hosted by Regis Philbin<\/a>. Then, Meredith Vieira<\/a> took over in 2002. After that, it was Cedric the Entertainer<\/a>, Terry Crews<\/a>, Chris Harrison<\/a>, and Kimmel. All of the other versions before Kimmel, who has hosted since 2020, were everyday civilians.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
