The Kardashian family is feeling the pain of loss this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mary Jo \u201cM.J.\u201d Shannon, Kris Jenner\u2019s mother, has passed away. She was grandmother to Kim, Rob and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as Kylie and Kendall Jenner.<\/p>\n
News of the Kardashians\u2019 grandma\u2019s passing was first shared by Kris in an emotional post on Instagram<\/a> to her more than 50 million followers.<\/p>\n \u201cToday we said goodbye to my beautiful Mommy MJ,\u201d Jenner began. \u201cThere are no words that could ever capture what she meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye. My mom was the heart of our family. She taught me everything that truly matters\u2026 to love your family fiercely, to be kind, to show up for the people you love, and to never take a single moment together for granted.\u201d<\/p>\n Her post, shared Thursday, included a photo of her mother smiling and has been shared more than 360,000 times to date.<\/p>\n Jenner continued, saying in part: \u201cThank you for giving me the greatest childhood and oh what a beautiful blessed life\u2026 I love you forever Mommy. Thank you for giving us everything.\u201d<\/p>\n Shannon, who made regular appearances on\u00a0Keeping Up with the Kardashians<\/a><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0The Kardashians, <\/em>was 91 at the time of her passing. She previously founded a San Diego-based children\u2019s boutique, Shannon & Co. Kris ran the store for a time while her mother tended to her dad who had been in a serious car accident.<\/p>\n Along with numerous photos of her grandmother, Kim Kardashian shared her own Instagram tribute <\/a>Thursday, writing: \u201cMy sweet Grandma MJ, my best friend, my gossip buddy, my forever twin\u2026 You taught all of us the importance of family, and those values are something we\u2019ll carry with us forever!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou truly were the matriarch of our family, and your love is woven into all of us. I know you\u2019re at peace now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
