Mathy metalcore outfit Bore<\/strong> have released a new music video for \u201cFeed,\u201d<\/strong> a track taken from the band\u2019s critically praised but often overlooked latest album, \u201cFeral.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The video arrives shortly after the group signed with the recently revived Ferret Music<\/strong>, the influential label known for its longstanding ties to the metalcore and hardcore scenes.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, guitarist Danny Kopij<\/strong> explained that \u201cFeed\u201d explores the growing influence of algorithms and online culture on modern society.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201c\u2018Feed\u2019 is a song about how algorithms seem to reprogram people in the modern age. From how art becomes content, to how a human being becomes a brand, to how someone who never left a 5 mile radius from where they were born suddenly becomes an expert on foreign policy and so on and so forth.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Discussing the video\u2019s creation, Kopij revealed that the concept quickly resonated with director Sean Ageman<\/strong> of Washed Up Media.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to capture that feeling of discontent and paranoia, and our friend Sean Ageman (Washed Up Media) immediately got what we were going for. We emptied our practice space, took out the carpet and shot the whole thing in about 5 hours, then Sean came back with the insane video you have here.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
