When asked about the sequel, Wilson told ET,<\/em> \u201cI can\u2019t believe it\u2019s happening, but it is.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cTom Bezucha is a great writer and a great director, and I read the script, and it\u2019s really funny, and it\u2019s so nice that everybody wants to work together again,\u201d he shared. \u201cAnd I think you know, after the death of Diane Keaton, it\u2019ll be even more meaningful because she was so great to be around on the first one.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mulroney, meanwhile, shared on The Tangle<\/em><\/a> podcast<\/a> in May 2026 that he believes the sequel will be called <\/a>The Families Stone.\u00a0<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\u201cEveryone\u2019s up for returning. I can be on record,\u201d Mulroney said.<\/p>\n
