After heading into the all-star break losers of five straight, they have won their first two games of the series with the Padres. The team took a 7-6 win on Friday and then a 6-1 win on Saturday. They will look for the sweep of the Padres on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n The Royals are 40-59 on the year<\/a>, placing them 12 games behind the Chicago White Sox<\/a> and Cleveland Guardians<\/a> in the AL Central. They are also ten games behind the Boston Red Sox<\/a> for the final wild card spot in the American League.<\/p>\n
