The San Diego Padres<\/a> finally got a win over the Kansas City Royals<\/a> as they pounded out 19 hits and 19 runs to salvage the final game of their crucial three-game series, 19-2.<\/p>\n The Padres sent German Marquez<\/a> to the mound and crossed their fingers, and sure enough Marqez gave up a first inning home run to Jac Caglianone<\/a> to put KC up 1-0. But the Padres came out after that and began hitting like a team that desperately needed a win.
