Netflix has revealed its Top 10 most-watched films<\/a> of 2026 so far, and Kpop Demon Hunters <\/em><\/a>is still sitting on the list, despite being a year old.<\/p>\n The animated musical has made it to the Netflix<\/a> Top Five with 130million views in just 2026 alone. It instantly smashed records when released, becoming the streamer’s most-watched film ever.<\/p>\n KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>\u00a0has now notched up 648.7M views overall, and remains the streamer’s most popular film of all time. Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans,\u00a0the film focuses on a KPop trio who secretly lead double lives as supernatural demon hunters.<\/p>\n The song “Golden,” which was written for and appears in the film, won two Academy Awards<\/a>, a Grammy, two Golden Globes<\/a> and topped the charts around the world.<\/p>\n The only films to surpass\u00a0Kpop Demon Hunters<\/em>\u00a0in this recent streaming ranking were the animated comedy Swapped, in which Michael B. Jordan<\/a> lends his voice, the crime drama The Rip,<\/em> starring Matt Damon<\/a> and Ben Affleck, and the\u00a0military thriller War Machine<\/em>.<\/p>\n Other films that made the newly revealed Top 10 included Apex <\/em>\u2013 the horror flick with Charlize Theron<\/a> and Taron Egerton, Emily Henry adaptation People We Meet On Vacation,<\/em> and survival-thriller Thrash<\/em>.<\/p>\n This is followed by Jennifer Lopez<\/a> rom com Office Romance<\/em>, Peaky Blinders <\/em>spin-of The Immortal Man<\/em> and car crash documentary The Crash<\/em>.<\/p>\n Netflix have confirmed<\/a>\u00a0that a\u00a0Kpop Demon Hunters<\/em>\u00a0sequel is coming, not surprisingly considering the viewing numbers.<\/p>\n “I feel immense pride as a Korean filmmaker that the audience wants more from this Korean story and our Korean characters,” Maggie Kang told Tudum<\/a>. “There’s so much more to this world we have built, and I’m excited to show you.
