Liam Gallagher<\/a> has responded to fans\u2019 requests for a new Oasis<\/a> album, saying that new music isn\u2019t on the way anytime soon.<\/p>\n The Britpop giants haven\u2019t released an album since 2008\u2019s \u2018Dig Out Your Soul\u2019, although fans have become increasingly hopeful for new music following their 2024 reunion<\/a> and huge \u2018Live \u201825\u2019 tour dates<\/a>.<\/p>\n In 2024, shortly after news of the comeback, Liam Gallagher got fans talking when he said that he and his brother Noel had a new album on the way that was \u201calready finished\u201d and \u201cin the bag\u201d,<\/a> and he stirred the pot again later that year by saying on X that he was \u201cblown away\u201d by the music his new brother was working on for the record.<\/a><\/p>\n That November, he\u00a0admitted that he was trolling fans with the comments<\/a>, confirming that there is \u201cno Oasis album in the making\u201d and adding: \u201cI was fucking joking\u2026 and the reason being because everyone is a little uptight these days.
